Jaiz International Plc has engaged the services of Millennium Finance Corporation (MFC) as Financial Adviser and KPMG Finance Advisory as co-advisory as part of effort to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into the country.

So far about three reputable world class Islamic Financial Institutions have shown interest. one of the institutions has already visited Nigeria (March 12th - 16th 2007) as part of due diligence on jaiz and other initiatives.  the other two are expected within the next three four weeks. we expect to begin negotiations in earnest towards the end of April 2007. Further announcements/ update to investors will be made as soon a binding M.O.U. is signed with any of the strategic investors.

RE: UPDATE ON THE PROPOSED JAIZ BANK

To meet the minimum capital requirement of =N= 25 Billion (US $185 Million) instructed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) , a three phased approach was adopted.

The First was The Initial Public Offer of =N= 2.5 Bn (US $ 18 Million ). This was over subscribed by 120%.

The Second phase is the on going Private Placement of =N=10 Billion (US $ 75 Million).

The Third phase will be the Public Offer of =N=13 Bn (US $ 96.2 Million).
